Ashanti Douglas is also known as Ashanti was born in Glen Cove New York United States on 13 October 1980. She is an American songwriter, singer and actor. The film in which she starred was Christmas in the City and was Latasha the character Montclair from Army Wives. Her track Rock wit U was sampled by British musician Aitch to accompany his track Baby in March 10, 2022.
